Nature's Real Deals

Do we think Usain Bolt (9.5 seconds in the 100; 19.19 in the 200) is on drugs or is he the real deal?

On a jog last Sunday in our local park I was startled by the sight of a large, slender gray heron with an impossibly long neck. It took off when I got near and followed the little stream like it was a runway -- its wingspan so broad it cast shadow across both banks. Nature makes amazing creatures, and we only get a glance at some of them. I hope Bolt is the real deal. But a world weary friend of mine says you've got to think Bolt is juiced...and herons don't get paid.
